As the 2023 Invasion of Artsakh rages on, up to 150,000 residents of Artsakh will be evacuated and enter Armenia proper as refugees. These refugees include young children, elderly grandparents, and exhausted mothers and fathers.
These refugees will need your support as they are evicted from their homeland; they’ll have poor clothing, minimal food, low funds, and potential injuries from the conflict. As a result, we plan to purchase necessary humanitarian goods like food and clothing for Artsakh refugees to support them through this terrible time.
Because of the urgent nature of the invasion, we’re still planning exactly how to help families as they arrive in Armenia proper from Artsakh. However, below are two lists: one that describes how we plan to help refugee families as they arrive from Artsakh, and a second list of things we won’t do as we begin to execute the project.
Purchase clothing, blankets, and shoes.
Provide non-perishable goods if needed, like canned food and water.
Partner with other non-profit (NGOs) in Armenia to assist in providing to refugee families.
Give money directly to refugee families.
Give money to anyone (individuals or organizations alike) to purchase goods on our behalf.
Support any government effort in any regard, especially in relation to events in Artsakh.
